Nestled among this vast scenery is the Torbay Museum. The museum was opened on July 22, 1988 and is very appreciative of the town's spirit and support. The museum is home to hundreds of artifacts, donated mostly by residents of Torbay. The mandate of the Torbay Heritage Committee includes producing a display of historical artifacts for public viewing, and the preservation and promotion of the heritage of Torbay.
